About the Building and Property Maintenance department

The Building Department administers all plan reviews and inspections required to process State of Michigan permits. The Department also handles compliance with general ordinances and the Property Maintenance Code. Forms are available in the Public Documents area or at the Township Offices.

Department Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm. Inspection requests for permits and property maintenance issues are usually inspected the same day they are requested. We ask that you request your site visit before 10:00am so our inspectors will be able to accomodate your schedule.
