The Alpine Township Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body that hears and decides upon requested varainces from the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance.  They also hear and act upon appeals from any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by any administrative official charged with Zoning Ordinance enforcement, based on the criteria set forth in State law.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the fourth Monday of each month if appeals have been received by their deadlines  and proper notification of residents within 300 ft of the property requesting a variance has been completed.

Appointments from the community-at-large are made by the Township Board for three-year terms.  The current Zoning Board of Appeals members are:
