Alpine Township is looking for a part time seasonal employee to maintain its Sports Complex at 1850 Alpine Church Street and mow and mark the fields, weed, repair fences, dugout benches, fill holes in fields, clean bathrooms, and do some repair work. This job varies by the season. The person should have their own transportationb be able to lift 40 lbs. and be able to schedule her/himself around park activities. TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEE OFFICES
Alpine Township will hold a Primary Election on August 2, 2016 and a General Election on November 8, 2016 for the positions of Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees . The Supervisor, Clerk, and Treasurer are full time positions. Job descriptiorns and statutory duties for each position are available at the Township Office. Terms of office are four years beginning on November 20, 2016.
Candidates for office must be registered voters of Alpine Township Anyone interested in the elective offices noted above can obtain a candidate filing packet and information from the Clerk at the Township Offices during regular business hours.
The deadline for filing a nominating petition is by 4:00 P.M. on TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2016 at the Township Offices.

Friends of the indian mill creek watershed group holds inaugural meeting (See story)
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN COMMITEE MEETING, Thursday, May 5th at 3:30 p.m. in the Township Offices (5255 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park 49321). The purpose of the meeting is to prioritize capital improvements projects and the funding of them and to make a recommendation to the Planning Commission and Township Board.
